Can viewers download the images from my site?

Viewers are not able to use a web browser's "save" or "save image" functions to download your images. This is true even on the HTML version of your website.

However, any time you post anything in public, especially on a website, there is the possibility that someone will take a screen shot and use it without your permission. Simple screen shots are easy to do, although they will never be any better quality than the original file, which in our case is a 72 dpi jpeg, typically less than 120K. This is not a high enough quality to take and use for print work. Screen shots are a basic function of all operating systems, and the ability cannot be disabled by a website or web-based application.
