What is a robots.txt file, and does my site have it?

A robots.txt file is a convention to prevent search engines, cooperating web spiders and other web robots from accessing part of a website which is otherwise publicly viewable.

This is a generic file for all liveBooks clients that simply prevents search engines from indexing the "sources" folder for your site. That folder contains the basic Flash components that make up your site. All other components of your site such as metadata, images and other content remain visible.
