Vimeo - Why aren’t all my Vimeo videos appearing on my liveBooks video page?

If not all videos are showing on your website you may need to adjust 2 privacy settings inside your Vimeo account. 

For Single-video pages:

  • In your Vimeo account, mouse over "me" and then click on "my settings". 

Under My Settings, click on "videos". Make sure that "anyone" is checked in the privacy settings and "anywhere" is checked under embed settings. 

  • Mouse over "videos" and then click on "my videos". 

On the top right of each video, click on the wheel (settings). 
Click "privacy". Make sure that "anyone" is checked under who can watch this video and "anywhere" is checked under where can this video be embedded settings. 

For Multi-Video Vimeo pages, videos privacy settings must be adjusted and the videos must be added to an album in order to view them on your liveBooks site. 

  • In your Vimeo account, mouse over "me" and then click on "my settings". 

Under My Settings, click on "videos". Make sure that "anyone" is checked in the privacy settings and "anywhere" is checked under embed settings. 

  • Mouse over "videos" and then click on "my videos". 

On the top right of each video, click on the wheel (settings). 
Click "privacy". Make sure that "anyone" is checked under who can watch this video and "anywhere" is checked under where can this video be embedded settings. 

Once you’ve adjusted privacy settings inside Vimeo, you’ll need to log into the editSuite and click the ‘View Website’ button at the top of the page. This will re-sync the page with your Vimeo account and your revisions/updates will be reflected on the liveBooks site. Note that you may need to allow 30+ minutes for Vimeo to update their cache before seeing changes take effect on the liveBooks site.
