How come orders sent to PayPal from my shopping cart do not include the shipping cost?

You will need to edit a setting in your PayPal account to accommodate the shipping cost:

  • Log in to your PayPal account and click My Account.
  • Go to Profile > More Options.
  • Then choose "Shipping Calculations".

a. You will see the list of domestic and international shipping methods that you have set up.
b. For each one, you can check the box for that row, and then click the "edit" button.
c. In that section, under "Currency and Shipping Region" you can see the radio button option for "Use the shipping fee in the transaction instead of my calculator's settings" (Yes or No).
d. You want to have this button set to "Yes".
